For our employees, working for the Atlas children is much more than a job – often they are still working on their own ideas after work. So on June 19, social media and event expert Sara Idrissi and Hamid Jalal, coordination manager for our volunteers, together with Ali Bendahbia from the ATAA Foundation and many helpers, put together a fascinating fundraising gala hosted by actress Kaoutar Boudarraja. Over a hundred guests flocked to the Club House of the Al Maaden Golf Club in Marrakech, which sponsored the location. The fashion show by designer Sana Moghli and a horse show led by Sadek El Bahjaoui delighted the guests. Singer Jouba and comedian Eko also heated up the atmosphere. The proceeds of the evening will go into a donation pot, which will contribute to the construction of another family house and a well.
A few days before the gala, the ‘Skulls of Sahara’ rattled through the children’s village. The motorcycle club from Casablanca not only brought water and food to the village. It also organized an art studio and taught the martial art Jujutsu. The ride through the village on a Harley Davidson will certainly remain unforgotten for our children. Unconventional help and special moments – captured in a fantastic way by our video artist Youssef Mama:
We would like to thank all helpers and donors!
