September21st & 22nd 2018
Elfin-like, the models floated across the catwalk in the garden of the Hotel Royal Mansour in Marrakech. Haute Couture in dreamlike surroundings, presented by the Oriental Fashion Show and its founder Hind Joudar.
The numerous guests could also enjoy an excellent meal created by three-star French chef Yannick Alleno.
Another highlight was the auctioning of works created by the internationally renowned artist Mahi Binebine.
Of course, the proceeds from both gala events on 21 and 22 September 2018 were donated to our children’s village. We would like to thank the co-organisers and all people involved who helped making the two evenings unforgettable events.
But a fashion show in a royal hotel – and a children’s village? How can these two go together? As Hansjörg Huber, founder of our children’s village, puts it:
“Beautiful women run on the catwalk. The sun and the light surrounding them even light up the shade. Plus we chose a royal place for our event, the most marvellous palace in the world. We want our children to become part of this dream.”
“Nights like this give us wings to fly. Together we join forces and change mindsets. Hope dies last. We do everything to ensure that our little ones are as much loved as any children in the world.”
